Larry Scott

Larry Scott is the tax partner of Scott & Cronin LLP, one of the leading Certified Public Accounting firms in the San Diego area. Mr. Scott graduated from San Diego State University with an undergraduate degree in Business, Math and Economics and studied accounting in the Graduate School of Business. After starting his career with Price Waterhouse he formed his own practice.

The emphasis of the practice is individual and business taxation, with many of the firm’s clients being closely held corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Mr. Scott has extensive expertise in real estate transactions, offshore and international taxation and tax planning for high wealth individuals. The work has required trips to London, the Isle of Man and Kuwait, with each trip giving a unique perspective on the continuing tax planning process.

Mr. Scott serves as Chairman of the RC Baker Foundation, a private philanthropic organization. Larry is an active fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito and other charitable organizations. He is a past treasurer of the California Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness.

Mr. Scott is an avid cyclist, participating in many charitable and challenging rides. He also enjoys competitive ballroom dancing and travels extensively. Larry has two children and has fun keeping up with six grandchildren.
